Consultations
We provide customised dental consultations for patients that are concerned about a problem and are in need of direction as to what can be done and what suits their needs.
Full Mouth Examination
We carry out comprehensive examination of all oral structures including teeth and gums to ensure maintenance of good health. Cancer screening is part of this scan.
Dental Implants
To replace a missing tooth, a small titanium cylinder is placed in the jaw bone by an implant specialist and several months later a dentist places a crown on the implant.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth and utilises adjacent teeth to act as support, with crowns on them.
Crowns
A crown is placed over the tooth to give it a good long term outlook and to keep it as strong as possible.
Restorations
Tooth coloured resin or ceramic materials are used to bring the tooth back to full form function and aesthetically pleasing status.
Veneers
A cosmetic choice to change the appearance of the tooth by bonding a thin piece of tooth-coloured material to the front surface.
Root Canal Treatment
To save abscessed dead teeth by placing a filling inside the root and then restoring the rest of the tooth back to form and function.
Hygienist
Thorough cleaning of all tooth surfaces to ensure the teeth, gums and supporting tissues remain healthy.
Mount Wellington Dental Centre is a registered ACC provider. If you have damaged your teeth as the result of an accident please give us a call to arrange an appointment.
We are also government funded to treat children between the ages of 13 and 18 (year 9 to 13) for free basic oral health services.
